Shannon and the Clams

Shannon and the Clams is a garage rock outfit from Oakland, California that owns a raw, lo-fi sonic aesthetic. With lead vocalist and bassist Shannon Shaw at the helm, the band collected a dedicated local following around the Bay Area throughout the mid-2000s and eventually captured an international audience after dropping its 2010 debut album, I Wanna Go Home, and embarking on an extensive European tour. Shannon and the Clams released its follow-up LP Sleep Talk, in 2012, offering more of its unpolished, surf rock sound.
