Serena Ryder is a Canadian singer/songwriter and musician from Millbrook, Ontario who owns as sound filled with folk, roots, country and adult contemporary music elements. With a five-octave range, she embraced her musical abilities at an early age and spent her teenage years performing as a solo artist. Ryder also performed with many bands from the Peterborough area, including Christian band Thousand Foot Krutch and Three Days Grace. She released her debut album Falling Out, in 1999, but first earned national attention for her songwriting style with her 2006 studio album If Your Memory Serves You Well, which spawned the hit single "Weak In the Knees." Ryder would go on to win several critical accolades including the 2013 Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year for her 2012 record, Harmony.
