Hope Sandoval

Hope Sandoval is a Los Angeles based singer/songwriter who makes a unique form of dream pop/folk rock. She has collaborated with many artists--including Massive Attack, Jesus & Mary Chain and Chemical Brothers--and is the lead singer of Mazzy Star as well as Hope Sandoval & the Warm Interventions. Though she is notorious for performing only with a dim backlight behind her, hiding behind her hair and not allowing cameras at her shows, Sandoval is talented vocalist and well worth seeing live.
