Satyricon

Satyricon is a heavy metal band that emerged out of Oslo, Norway in 1991 with the quintessential Norwegian black metal sound. The band personified this style for its first three studio albums, starting with its debut LP 1994's Dark Medieval Times, before allowing the hard rock foundation of its songs to come to the forefront. Satyricon released its eight studio album, a self-titled effort, in 2013.
