Painted Palms

Painted Palms is a chillwave duo composed of cousins Reese Donohue and Christopher Prudhomme. As Prudhomme resided in Louisiana and Donohue in San Francisco, the two artists crafted their debut record as Painted Palms, the Canopy EP, through a string of emails, capturing a indie fusion of electro and experimental electronic music. The EP caught the attention of Kevin Barnes, who invited the duo to tour with his band Of Montreal. Soon after, Prudhomme joined Donohue in San Francisco, and the Painted Palms dropped its first full-length LP, Forever, in 2014.
