Maurice Alberto Rocca, better known as Mo Rocca, is an American actor and comedian. Born in Washington, D.C., he served as the president of Harvard University's theatrical student society - Hasty Pudding Theatricals - while studying there. His first on-stage experience happened in 1993 as part of the cast of Grease in 1993. The following year, he starred in the production of South Pacific by Paper Mill Playhouse. Between 1995 and 1997, he wrote and produced the multi-award-winning children's TV series Wishbone. Around the same time, he also worked as a writer on Nickelodeon TV's The Wubbulous World of Dr. Suess and ABC's Pepper Ann. The year 1998 ushered in a new era for Rocca when his work as a reporter on the Daily Show helped him step into the TV industry. The following years saw him serve as a correspondent on numerous other popular shows like The Tonight Show, CBS Sunday Morning and CBS This Morning, among others. Over the course of his career, multi-talented Rocca has also ventured into the world of food, books, films and theater.
