Michael Cavanaugh

Michael Cavanaugh is a singer, musician and actor who rose to fame as the lead vocalist and pianist of Movin' Out, a jukebox musical featuring the songs of Billy Joel. Handpicked for the Broadway stage by Joel himself, Cavanaugh made a huge impression on audiences with his soulful voice, so much so that by the time he ended the shows initial three-year run, he has a solid fan base in place for his own act. He embarked on a tour in 2005 with his own reinterpretations of the standard pop/rock songbook, and he continues to perform in various venues across the US.
