Mental As Anything

Mental As Anything is an Australian new wave band that formed in 1976 while its members were attending art school in Sydney. The band released its debut album, Get Wet, in 1979 to national acclaim, starting what would be an incredibly successful decade. The band broke international ground in 1981 with its LP Cats& Dogs, which found an audience in North America and New Zealand. While Mental As Anything has undergone major lineup changes throughout its decades-long career, founding members Martin Plaza and Greedy Smith have remained at the core of the project, driving it forward with each subsequent tour and release.
