Originating as The Kind's in Mexico, the California-based ensemble Los Bondadosos was founded by Gustavo Camarillo, Jesús Cardosa, Rafael Melero, Javier Morales, and Miguel García. Transitioning from traditional pop to Latin rock upon moving to the U.S., they signed with Anahuac, releasing debut albums like "Chicana" and "Mojado," featuring the hit "Cara de Angel" in 1975. Evolving through label changes, their 25th anniversary album marked a milestone. Despite chart absence, the band persisted in touring and recording well into the 21st century. Post the departure of Morales, they released "Mi Mejor Regalo" in 2000 and continued with subsequent albums like "Unidos" after 9/11, "De Durango... Los Primeros" in 2004, and "Nuestra Historia" in 2007, featuring hits re-recorded with guest artists. With themed compilations and collaborations, including "Un Mesaje de Dios Para Ti" in 2017 with Bronco, Los Bondadosos' enduring legacy thrives through their extensive musical journey.
