The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs is a minor league baseball club based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania that is the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Founded in 1993, the Iron Pigs is a name that nods to pig iron, a moniker that's used in the manufacturing of steel, an industry for which Allentown is well known for. The team plays at Coca-Cola Park, a 50 million dollar facility that was opened in 2008 and can seat up to 8,100 spectators.
