Kyle Hollingsworth is a Boulder, Colorado-based keyboardist who is probably best known for his role with the seminal jam band String Cheese Incident. After joining the group in 1997, Hollingsworth would go on to help propel the band to become a significant touring force. With a diverse approach to songwriting that highlights his ability as a piano, organ, clavinet, synthesizer and accordion player, many of the tunes Hollingsworth contributed to String Cheese Incident's song catalog became fan favorites. Although the band's guitarist, Bill Nershi, would leave the group in 2008, to pursue his bluegrass tendencies, prompting String Cheese Incident to go on hiatus, that is occasionally breached so the band can play rare shows, Hollingsworth has managed to stay busy with solo ventures of his own. Apart from playing shows and releasing well crafted albums, including his 2008 sophomore LP Then There's Now, Hollingsworth is also a ardent home brewer who released a special brew, Hoppingsworth IPA, in 2009.
