John Pinette

John Pinette was an American stand-up comedian known for his self-deprecating humor, impressions and jokes about food. The Massachusetts-born comic was in the middle of an accounting career before he turned to stand-up at the urging of his friends. Pinette quickly adapted to his new career path, winning Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the American Comedy Awards in 1999. Self-admittedly in a constant struggle with obesity and food addiction, Pinette found humor in his day-to-day life via a charming personality and his ability to poke fun at himself. In addition to his comedy work, Pinette also starred in a number of films, including Junior and Duets.
