Timbaland is an American hip hop artist, singer and producer. Additionally, he's the label boss of Mosley Music Group. In his youth, Timothy Zachary Mosley, a.k.a. Timbaland, performed under the name of "DJ Tiny Tim" and later joined his friends Missy Elliott and Melvin "Magoo" Barcliff onstage. When Mosley landed a job in production, his boss DeVante Swing dubbed him "Timbaland." During the 1990s, he started to produce bands like Destiny's Child, Jay-Z, and Nas. Later, Justin Timberlake, Aaliyah, Brandy and The Game made it into Timbaland's catalog.
