The Pioneers is a Jamaican vocal trio. It was formed by Winston Hewitt, and brothers, Derrick and Sydney Crooks, in 1962, when reggae music was still new. Three years after the trio's first single "Sometime", The Pioneers' debut album Greetings from The Pioneers was released in 1968.
