Born to an Algerian mother and a Spanish father, Damien Saez is a French singe/songwriter who began studying piano at the Conservatoire National de Région de Dijon under pianist Boris Nedeltchev at the age of 8. His debut album, Jours Étranges, was released in 1999 and immediately capture the attention of critics, fans and radio stations, which began giving significant airtime to the album's first single, "Jeune et con." Besides his work as a musician, he is also a poet and published his first poetry book, À ton nom in 2001. Saez continues to create music into the 2010s, including his 2012 triple album Messina, and has exposed his acoustic soft rock sound to throngs of new fans.
