El Negro is a rock band that skillfully blends influences from 70s and 90s bands, Stoner Rock, and Blues. In September, they entered the legendary Toca do Bandido studio in Rio de Janeiro to record their second album, set for release in March 2017 under the international label Toca-Discos (RJ). Their debut album features 10 songs, recorded live in a deactivated factory, creating an "Old School" vibe. While maintaining their raw and straightforward style, the band, under the production of Felipe Rodarte, now explores new sounds and adds overdubs to the base recordings.
