Sebestyén Márta is arguably the most significant female folk singer of Hungary. She has performed many songs with the Muzsikás band, but has her solo career as well, which showcases her trans-genre style. This vocalist sings Transylvanian, Slovak, Bulgarian and Yiddish folk songs in a unique way. Her stoically beautiful single, "Szerelem, Szerelem" (Love, Love), was even included on The English Patient soundtrack.
