M.É.Z. (which means "honey" in Hungarian) was formed in 1988 and plays Celtic music. The Irish folk songs are translated into Hungarian so it covers legendary songs like "Whiskey in the Jar" and "Spancil Hill." The band also collaborated on an album with the country's blues king, Hobo. Besides the traditional folk cover songs, the band also produces its own original compositions.
