Christopher Cross

Christopher Cross is a soft rock singer/songwriter whose meteoric rise to fame came with the 1979 release of his eponymous debut album. Released on Warner Bros. Records, the album spawned pop rock hits like "Ride Like the Wind" and "Sailing" and earned Cross five Grammy Awards as well as commercial acclaim across the world. Though he saw further success with his next few albums, all released on Warner Bros. Music, he took a hit with the rise of the MTV generation, which was fixated on image. Despite his fall in mainstream appeal, he continues to release his signature brand of adult contemporary music on his own label, starting with the 2014 LP Secret Ladder.
