Chamberlin is an American country and folk-influenced rock band from Vermont. The group started as a partnership between friends, as Mark Daly and Ethan West would regularly head up to a mountainside cabin to record demos of songs they'd each written. Upon deciding they wanted to flesh out the material and form a band, the two quickly found a few other like-minded musicians and Chamberlin was officially born. Now a five-piece, the band's sound is reminiscent of the mellower aspects and reverb-laden vocal work of popular indie groups such as Band of Horses and My Morning Jacket. Slight acoustic instrumentation will often hang lightly in the air while rich harmonies and melodic hooks carry the band's twang-tinged songs. Chamberlin's debut LP, Bitter Blood, was released in 2011.
