Brent Butt

Brent Butt is a stand-up comedian from Saskatchewan, Canada who has been performing since 1988, when he decided to participate in an amateur night. After honing his act on stages across his hometown and eventually around the nation, winning accolades like the 2001 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-Up, he began making a name for himself on television as the creator and star of the sitcom, Corner Gas. He earned his own hour-long comedy special, The Brent Butt Comedy Special, on the Comedy Network in 2010, and has since continued to spread his brand of humor into international territory.
