Hailing from Ingolstadt, Germany, Bonfire is a heavy metal band that was founded as Cacumen in 1972. Blending hair metal and hard rock into one massive sound, the band released a self-titled LP in 1982. After a recording a follow-up album in 1983, the band signed to BMG and changed its name to Bonfire. The band reintroduced itself with the 1986 LP, Don't Touch the Light, reaching a wider audience than ever before. With an unrelenting recording schedule, the group dropped over a dozen albums in the next two decades while also consistently touring the world. Bonfire released its 15th LP, Glorious, in 2015.
