The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit organization based in Albaquerque, New Mexico. The NMSO began in 1932 and takes a proactive stance on music education in the state; it is the largest education provider of its kind in New Mexico. Aside from its philanthropic outreach, the symphony is comprised of talented musicians whose works are largely influenced by Beethoven.
New Mexico Symphony Orchestra went bankrupt in April 2011.
