Since the mid-1990s, this British band has been transforming its experimental sound. Famous for its single, "Rome Wasn't Built In A Day", Morcheeba meshes a mixture of rhythm, blues and rock, with its trip hop base. What began as an electronic-mod style, where DJ scratching flowed in and out of the electric guitar sounds, has since moved to a lighter and airier style. From this summery sound, Morcheeba then focused on its pop influences and has since settled into its own folksy-pop genre.
