Alisa Weilerstein

Born into a musical family, Alisa Weilerstein is a cellist from New York who has become a champion of contemporary classical music since she first picked up her instrument of choice at the age of four. By the time she was 13, she made her debut as a professional musician with the Cleveland Orchestra and has gone on to perform with some of the world's largest orchestras, including the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Russia's oldest symphony orchestra.
