Apart from being a popular actor and podcaster, New York-native Andrew Schulz is widely known for his uproarious stand-up sketches. He discovered his passion for comedy during his time at UC Santa Barbara. He began pursuing comedy as a hobby until his colleagues at the restaurant he worked at encouraged him to perform on-stage. He became a regular at the comedy clubs in Manhattan upon his return to New York. After years of performing live, he released his first comedy special 4:4:1 on YouTube in 2017. The much-loved special has amassed over a million views since. Schulz's debut comedy album 5:5:1 dropped in June 2018. It peaked at number one on multiple platforms including Amazon, Apple Music, Google Play and iTunes within a week of its release. By the end of June, 5:5:1 had topped the Billboard comedy album chart as well.
