Kult is an altenative rock band from Warsaw, Poland. Formed in 1982, the band released its eponymous first album in 1987, taking its time to blend punk, new wave, jazz and hard rock into one style. Dropping nearly an album a year for the next two decades, the band finally earned mainstream attention in 2005, with its LP Poligono Industrial. Kult has since continued to make waves in the pop music scene of Poland, carrying its devoted following over into a new generation of fans.
