Dr. Hook

Led by chief vocalist and guitarist Dennis Locorriere, Dr. Hook is a soft rock band from Union City, New Jersey that achieved widespread commercial popularity throughout the 1970s with hit single "Sylvia's Mother," "The Cover of 'Rolling Stone'" and "Only Sixteen." Though Dr. Hook for all intents and purposes broke up in 1985, Locorriere has continued to tour under the auspices of either his Voice of Dr. Hook guise or even under the original Dr. Hook name to perform his band's well-known classics to fans.
