Deicide

Deicide is a black metal band that began 20 years ago in Tampa, Florida. they began an underground cult movement that changed metal forever. Considered one of the most controversial death metal bands around, they have served as an influence for countless of other metal bands that now identify in this genre. Deicide continues to shock and entertain its audiences with extreme brutal metal sound, blasphemous lyrics and fear inducing performances. Apart from their music which matches their antics in extremity and anger, the band has created a name for themselves for the crazy and violent antics they pull at shows such as pouring animal organs onto the audience. They have made many enemies in the past two decades with religious groups, and animal activists groups. Deicide willingly takes on the controversy and even antagonizes those who they anger, for all the hate they receive, they receive just as much admiration from thsoe who buy into their "pure evil" aesthetic.
