Turntablist, musician, DJ and author Eric San operates under the guise of Kid Koala. Unlike most modern EDM producers, who seek out pulsating crowds and construct song around the bass drop, Kid Koala builds his songscapes around characters and narratives. Between thrift store diving for dusty record stores and writing his own graphic novels, he embraces his inner nerd and has distinguished himself, time and time again, as a true creative and not a cookie-cutter DJ. Kid Koala has opened for legendary acts like Radiohead and Bjork, but his incredible success hasn't dulled his imagination. He continues to craft his signature blend of electronica and alternative hip-hop on records like 2012's 12 Bit Blues.
