Straight Line Stitch is an American metalcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. Formed in 2001, the band has released four studio albums, two EPs, and one live album. Their music is a mix of metalcore, groove metal, and alternative metal, with a heavy emphasis on melodic vocals. The band's debut album, When Skies Wash Ashore, was released in 2004 and was met with critical acclaim. The album featured the singles "Conversion" and "The Gift", which both received airplay on MTV2. The band's follow-up album, The Fight of Our Lives, was released in 2007 and featured the singles "Black Veil" and "What You Do to Me". In 2010, Straight Line Stitch released their third album, The Unraveling. The album featured the singles "Remission" and "Conviction", which both received airplay on Sirius XM. The band's fourth album, Darkness, in the Light, was released in 2011 and featured the singles "Tear Down the Sky" and "Turning Pages". Straight Line Stitch has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, performing alongside bands such as Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, and Five Finger Death Punch. The band has also performed at festivals such as Ozzfest, Download Festival, and Warped Tour. Straight Line Stitch has become a staple of the metalcore scene, with their unique blend of metalcore, groove metal, and alternative metal.
