Emma Pollock

After the Scottish indie rock band The Delgados split up in 2005, singer and guitarist Emma Pollock opted to pursue a solo career. Though her material is a bit more timid than her work with The Delgados, Pollock is nevertheless a talented songwriter who's more than capable as a story teller and instrumentalist. Most of her tunes center around strummed electric guitar melodies set to airy vocal accompaniments.
