Hailing from England, Twisted Wheel is an indie rock/post punk band that was formed in 2007 by front man and guitarist Jonny Brown and bassist Rick Lees, who were later joined by drummer Adam Clarke. The three-piece outfit first exposed its melodic punk music to a mainstream audience in 2009 when it landed a opening slot at Oasis' Heaton Park concert series. By the time Twisted Wheel released its debut single "She's A Weapon," with Columbia Records in 2008, the band had collected a following of seasoned punk veterans as well as younger rock fans with its psychedelic punk sound, anti-authority lyrics and an indie rock sensibility. Twisted Wheel released its self-titled debut album in 2009 and has gone on to headline its own shows and earn a fair amount of radio play on major UK stations.
