Laura Cantrell

Laura Cantrell is a singer/songwriter and musician who blends together elements of traditional and modern country. She earned widespread acclaim from critics and her contemporaries alike for her 2000 debut album, Not the Tremblin' Kind, an effort that the late legend John Peel described as one of the most perfect records he’d ever heard. Cantrell has continued to release new material, including 2013's No Way There From Here, allowing her Southern roots to flavor her country music.
