MC Lars

Andrew Nielsen, who performs and releases music under his MC Lars moniker, is a hip-hop artists from Berkeley, California and the self-proclaimed originator of “post-punk laptop rap.” MC Lars released his debut LP, Nothing to Fear, in 1999 and the album helped establish the rapper as an individual who's unafraid to pursue nontraditional hip-hop styles in order to achieve his artistic endgame.
