Burn This is a play by esteemed American author Lanford Wilson that opened off-Broadway in 1987 with a cast that included John Malkovich and Joan Allen in the main roles. The story follows the relationships and the inner turmoil of a group of four friends attending the funeral of their mutual friend who dies in a boating accident. The original cast won numerous awards for their roles in Wilson's play, of whom Joan Allen won the Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Play." Burn This has been revived several times since its premier, and continues to be a critical favorite at theaters throughout the country.
