Front man and founder of quirky indie folk band Page France, Michael Nau decided to start a side project in 2005, but soon abandoned his former group entirely for his new endeavor, Cotton Jones. Centered around his songwriting, but with a full backing band, Cotton Jones steers Nau more into Amercana territory than his work with Page France ever did. Though based out of Maryland, the band showcases a Southern style of downhome folk ballads, and has found a solid base of fans who appreciate Cotton Jones' Southern charm.
