Annie Sachs (aka Tickley Feather) is an experimental indie pop singer/songwriter from Philadelphia. Released in 2008, her eponymous debut LP introduced listeners to her collage-y, bedroom-recorded dream pop style. Sachs' songs are crammed full of tinny keyboards, electronic bells and whistles, cheap drum machines and her own multi-tracked vocal parts, all adding up to a psychedelically-tinged sound that has begun winning her fans of outer fringe indie pop. A follow-up album, Hors D'oeuvres, was released in 2011 and helped earn Tickley Feather a spot performing at the Animal Collective-curated portion of All Tomorrow's Parties.
