Armed with a keytar, old fashioned synth machine and drum set, Woodhands is a duo that creates synthpop from scratch--no samples or laptops involved. Formed in Toronto in 2006, the duo creates pulsating, new-wave inspired tracks intended to be danced to. Woodhands released its debut album on Paper Bag Records in 2008 and has since garnered a good amount of acclaim for its entertaining live performances.
