Composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Renu is best known for being a prominent specialist in a variety of percussion instruments, ranging in origin from India to West Africa to South America. While this may be her forte, the London-based musician also crafts world-influenced contemporary pop, filled with her soft folksy vocals and highly polished production. While she plays the majority of instruments herself on album, Renu tours with an 8-piece backing orchestra to help her flesh out her layered songs on stage.
