Zomby is an underground dubstep producer based out of the UK. Since he began releasing material in 2007, Zomby has maintained a fiercely mysterious and enigmatic persona, rarely accepting interview requests, revealing personal information or performing without a mask on. His debut album Where Were U in 92 announced the arrival of a producer who aimed to bridge a gap between the rave culture of the 1990s and the modern, somewhat darker sounds of dubstep that have crossed into the mainstream thanks to the work of fellow UK producers like Burial.
