Saint Saviour

Becky Jones, who performs under the Saint Saviour guise, is an English singer whose throwback, vintage soul voice has risen her to prominence. After singing in various UK music halls during the 2000s, Jones was noticed by the two members of big beat duo Groove Armada and asked to contribute vocals to a few of their tracks on their 2010 LP, Black Light. The electronic-meets-crooner songs helped introduce Jones' voice to the listening public and shortly after the album dropped, her notoriety as a solo musician grew. Though the work she does outside of Groove Armada is far removed from the electronic world, it's nevertheless interesting listening material, especially for fans of soul and classic R&B music.
