Royal Republic

Royal Republic is a Swedish band formed in 2007 that makes short songs jammed full of the group's characteristic neo-pop punk stylings. The band's 2010 debut album, We Are The Royalty, was received well by a few prominent Swedish radio stations and music critics--leading to the band's widespread acceptance by the Swedish mainstream music listening public. Though the group's immediate popularity has been confined to Sweden, with more time spent on the road and in the studio, the band's prominence outside of Scandinavia will no doubt grow.
