Fixers is an indie pop band from Oxford, United Kingdom that manages to take the genre's recent affinity with psychedelic rock and manages to fuse the two into an exceptionally well-done musical product. Although many listeners may come to the band thinking they've heard it all before, when one listens harder, one can not only hear the Fixers' genuine appreciation for its influences, but also the band members' own original touches beginning to come out of the woodwork. The band is still young, and many critics see a particularly bright future for the sunshine-filled psychedelic pop band--particularly the Guardian, which celebrates the Fixers as "potentially huge homegrown purveyors of US psych-pop."
