Black Lungs

In a vie to venture into more melodic territory than his other band, Alexisonfire, Canadian musician Wade MacNeil started the band Black Lungs in 2005 to showcase a side of his songwriting that has oftentimes gone unnoticed. Blending various genres, including punk, alternative rock and hardcore folk, MacNeil released the Black Lungs' debut LP, Send Flowers, in 2008 and the album helped establish the band as an interesting alternative to MacNeil's other, more aggressive band.
