The Buffalo, New York-based emo band Cute Is What We Aim For was formed in 2005. Since its inception, the band has suffered a series of line-up changes--the only orginal member being lead singer Shaant Hacikyan. The band's sound has consistently retained its wry and fairly immature emo-pop aesthetic.
