Laurel Halo

Laurel Halo is a musician based out of New York who creates airy electronic music that is oftentimes dark and contemplative. She released her debut EP, King Felix, in 2010 and has since received a lot of press attention for her forward-thinking sound. Though not necessarily concentrating on a sound that is created to make people dance, Halo's style is a unique blend of sounds that's methodically produced to ensure that nearly every sound in her songs serves a purpose.
