Formed by Robbie Guertin of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah fame, Radical Dads departs from the indie pop quirks of Guertin's former band and infuses a hefty dose of fuzz into its angular post punk. While the trio shifts its sound from heavy noise rock to lo-fi indie pop from song to song, the fuzz and angular guitars remain consistent, tying the tracks together. After forming in 2008, the Brooklyn-based band signed to the label collective Uninhabitable Mansions and plans to release a debut LP in 2011.
