Portland-based band 31 Knots has been slowly making a name for themselves over the years as one of rock music's most underrated prog rock bands. Establishing themselves in the early 2000s as one of a growing number of bands re-defining guitar arrangements into complex songs, the band laid the foundation for a career with a renowned record label and a loyal fan base. In the band's later work, its members began experimenting even more with song arrangement, adding piano and additional instruments to make the band's sound more dynamic.
