The Book of Mormon

Celebrated as one of the funniest musicals to grace Broadway, The Book of Mormon is a religious satire musical written by the Trey Park and Matt Stone, the creators of the famed animated South Park television series. The story follows two mismatched Mormon missionaries as they haphazardly attempt to bring Mormonism to the tribal peoples of Uganda, with hilarious and often enlightening results. The musical opened in 2011 and almost immediately gained the acclaim of critics and audiences who felt that The Book of Mormon achieves the trifecta of great music, plot and choreography that is found in all Broadway classics.
